Meet Diego vd Tal~

I would like everyone to meet Diego!

He is one of our gorgeous males as you can see from the photos. I've spent hours trying to get those "hero shots" where he looks menacing for those of you who want the big bad*@# Rotts. 

The reality, Diego is very stable, lovely and athletic! These pictures show him as that bad *@# who would protect his family with his life. That is what a great Rott should be. The ultimate family member!

It is nothing short of amazing watching Diego interact with Sage~ He adores her, flops down onto his back in complete submission for her

He has been portrayed as a chest bumping maniac in print however we have not found that to be even close to the real Diego! He is the first to ignore silly behavior from other creatures looking for trouble. He falls in line as a natural leader of the pack secondary to any/all of the humans, even the children, setting a a very calming tone for the rest of the pack.

True to Rottweiler form, he isn't a member of the welcoming committee. Walmart won't be hiring him as a greeter any time soon! He is perfectly willing to completely ignore strangers we deem ok, but he's watching and listening. He is constantly on the lookout for his family and loves his entire pack.


 Patient with smallish things, kids, cats, puppies, lambs. In fact when I had my Shetland lambs I made a "lamby baba" for them and one for Diego. Unfortunately, no pictures of him with formula running down his chin, my hands were full and my two year old couldn't figure out the camera.
 Diego is fun loving.  Family walks and chasing the ball are his favorite activities ...
